About The Project

Welcome! This is a place for stories we share. I think of the stories we lived together - fireworks on the Lake, Jeff’s famous chocolate covered peanut into the ketchup, and ceramic Christmas trees. And I am learning the stories of our past. Our family came from England and Ireland, through Pennsylvania, southern Ohio and settled in central Indiana, with a few forays in Missouri and Kentucky, but always coming back to Indiana. We seem to be farmers, workers, community minded men and women of faith with an eye open to adventure now and then. I think I see history repeating itself in each of you.

Add to the Story

If you have any stories, photos, videos, or other information you'd like to share, please do so! It will be exciting to see what we all learn about each other and our history. You can fill out what you know of our family history using the worksheets under "Join in on the Project!" on the left sidebar. You can email files to Dawn at gastdawn.dg@gmail.com or submit them via Dropbox with the link under the worksheets (you do not need to have a Dropbox account to use this feature - just click the link and it will help you). Dropbox is especially good for large files.

Check out this link it takes the Fallis Family into the 1700's In Virginia.
If you read some of the comments at the bottom it talks about a George Fallis being a neighbor of George Washington!
